If you can connect to the Vu+ with the web interface (OpenWebIf) try and disable HDMI-CEC hade same problem with my Uno4Kse and Samsung UHD TV
When HDMI-CEC is activated the stupid TV thinks that the box is in standby after the first BH Logo.
