Hi! I had the same problem with 0% signal strength showed the image and on weak transponders the signal jumped 75% -25% Express AM6 53E etc. On strong transponders 100% showed. Don't buy VU + Zero 4K I sold it too. Of course it's good that it doesn't have FBC tuner, FBC tuner always shows less signal strength 15-20%, if my old VU-SOLO2 shows 100% then FBC tuner shows 15-20% less
I did not fix this bug I bought Vu + Zero 4K in 2019 and this bug was already in 2018
Again with this nonsense about signal strength: as written by many people many many times, the signal values showed by a STB have no meaning: STBs are not measurement devices.
What matters is: can you watch those channels or not?
It is a mistake from the first day of this receiver, brand more, no matter, the tuner you have is good, in the end comparing several receivers and a real test of the Astra at 28'2ºThis one can not tune the UK beam in Spain.
In Spanish for me.
----------------
VU+Zero4K tuner DVB-S2X
Señal/SNR 100% Calidad/AGC 99% VU+Solo2
Señal/SNR 100% Calidad/AGC 86% VU+Uno4K tuner DVB-S2
Señal/SNR 94% Calidad/AGC 65% VU+Uno4K tuner DVB-S2X (quality difference)
I deeply regret buying this device. The image pixelates, but it doesn't show this as BER. I can't tell if it's a signal issue or something else. I'm trying to watch Digitürk 4K channels using a module, but during transition scenes, there are mosaics. I thought it might be related to the module or overheating, but I noticed that similar issues occur on the FTA TRT 4K channel as well. I wish I had saved up a bit more and bought the Dreambox Two instead.
I've disconnected the Vu+ Zero 4K and hooked up my Vu+ Duo again. Now I'm watching 4K channels via streaming on Kodi.
Just like its name suggests, zero. 4K zero, 4K nothing!
