I suppose GL support is enabled only on the boxes that can process them.
I don't know if first generation boxes can do that.

Please remember that this is the first porting in mipsel machines and this is work in progress.
Xbmc is not yet fully stable and many addons are not yet working.
But it runs and is a pleasure to have it in our Vu+ !!
