I confirm. Sync is there but NO CHANNELS can be found on Duo4K [Tuner: Vuplus DVB-S NIM(SI2166) (DVB-S2X)].



We all would appreciate a lot the right function of the channel search application/driver/whatever... Blindscan for that tuner also, if we can wish.

Yes it doesn't work... But if testing on a Zero 4K it works...

Yes, that's it... and we have two audio tracks, Spanish and English (channel BOMCine).

...its a problem with the tuner module but I don't know if a software work around would solve it, these tuners where not sold as MIS but then it was added by the image driver update, so possibly if someone that reads this is a coder maybe he could look into it.

...that would be great, if someone could do a code review to it. If this would work maybe also would solve other reception issues.
Other chiper receivers can handle that and also blindscan!!!

Why they don't fix the issues?

*My next box don't will be a VU+ if they don't solve issues for today basic funcions and only are interessted in sell boxes that don't work as they should.*

Sorry VU+... but I'm frustranted about the tuners and drivers you offert for the VU+Duo4k or newer models.

The little Zero4k os working much better.

Unbeliable... Think about the products or company future...

In fact 45308X is the tuner on my vu+duo4k and *has sync* on the frequency. Is there a way to see how it does the channel search (maybe step-by-step)?
Can I use dvbsnoop or other tool to see if it is possible to catch the free channels on that frequency? I mean it should be possible. Don't you think?

Yes, with the SI2166 from the zero4k no problem to get the channels on that frequency with normal channel search. Ok, but...

On inserting the files from Zero4k on Duo4k (Bouquet, lamedb, satellites.xml) no success. I receive an error when I start enigma2 manually and tune to the channel. And then I see a lot of 'driver issue' messages in the log...

If VU don't can find the issue or develop the patch, maybe we can help each other. Where can we start or continue?

TOP-class receivers and such trifles bring everything to zero, Chinese receivers for a dollar successfully cope with this A VU + they don't even want to lift a finger to fix these problems, it's sad
