What EPG system do you use?

error: [Errno 146] Connection refusedthat mean the server doesen't allow connections.
Just setup a Solo2 and got the same problem, so it's not hardware specific. No problem with 1.7.9.

Good evening, I'm using BH now since 1.6.x and upgrading every single time an upgrade is released. I like BH because it s the best at present. But I have the feeling the upgrades are not improving the box, the images are more unstable at every upgrade.
I'm installing less and less plugins because the images are using more and more ram/flash, universe isn't helping because this is making it even more unstable, so I'm in BH with minimum plugins with swap on USB 256. After restart I have 93% ram, 84% flash and 0 Swap. Swap seems to be sucking data and as soon as it reaches 40% the box becomes extremely slow, this now happens every morning maybe because of cross epg refresh in the night, which I'm doing at all images where with 1.6.x it was after several days now after 1 day.
This image 2.0.1 I installed already 5 times because its green screening every time I try something difficult like epg refresh.
Am the only one here who has these problems ?

If you use CrossEPG, migrate to BH EPG ...
Sorry to sound silly, but What's the difference between cross epg and the epg panel?
crossepg it is external plugin to get epg data;
bh epg (epg panel as you're calling it) is an epg client built in BH image
So you can use whichever works best ?
Do you mean that the bh devs have integrated the cross epg plugin, or equivent functionality, into the base image ?
I will try it, just setup my box, cancelled cross and timed all needed epg with a 10 minute interval. See what happens tomorrow. In general I would like to know if I am the only one with this problem ?
And I'm not talking about epg but in general, like for me universe is unusable..
In BH image there is two option to get epg data:
1. BH epg
2. Cross epg
Use only one of them.
10 min??? what for? it will change automatically when audition will finish. It's not needed I think and it will only use your vu resources to refresh epg

I may disagree with U, using one universe @USB will help decrease the memory load on duo flash Ram!
Its Like using BH image on the STB flash with no settings( plugin, skins,,,,etc) , then installing BH image ,on USB/universe ,with full loads of plug-ins, settings , scripts,,skins,,,etc)!
Woke up this morning to find my tv switched on because the box crashed during the epg refresh, probably sky, tried it again this morning and got stuck again. As for universe I tried it several times it only made the box more sluggish for me.
My post was not about epg, this was only part of the problem. My comment was that every update seems to be more unstable to me.
