Black Hole Vu+ Solo2 2.0.2 - Meoboot Revenge

As far as I know all the boxes reserve some memory for system operation,
mainly for the A / V signal processing needs.
So nothing strange

Thanks I understand that ,You developers are available to you only 576 for image and the rest is for Linux system ! Am I right ?

No. The memory is allocated by the bootloader before to boot the system (linux). We work on Linux system and we have available the memory you see.

If you have a problems with VU+ Solo2 orginal Wifi dongle in Pli / Vix / VTI multiboot images

How to configure VU + Solo2 Wifi on usb Multiboot images.
see the pictures
Do not forget that you have to re-write the encription key
(in PLI based images remote not working) so you have to
use Virtual Keyboard to change encription key (remote button on the top left)
and reboot.

This is not a recommendation but one of the possibilities to install BH image in flash and USB.
I have my image in flash .And that's enough for me.

install picons on USB

Ok, so is it really only useful for testing images? Does it leave the image in flash completely unaffected? If the USB becomes corrupt will the box revert to image on box automatically?
Sounds a neat feature.:)

i have vu solo 2
I installed the image in flash
configured network and mount hdd
do restart
activated MeoBoot
installed 2.0.2
2.0.2 lifted with MeoBoot
and then problem
network has only worked in local
Out in the internet
I tried all the options but the image does not want to accept the primary DNS
where could the problem be?

new installation and the problem is solved
however, that even in the new version is not possible to rewind on my tube
in other images to work perfect (option + - 5)

If you have restore personal backup, it restore ip addres but not dns servers... You have to manually configure.

So whats the point of having online image update when everytime there is a new update you have to install a fresh image again?

You can not make such big changes within the image with online update,
especially not with such a possibility for multiboot.

So when will all this big changes be over and we really can install the image without reflashing it every now and then?

Probably never.
Well you can, use one and the same image all the time.
It's the same when you ask if Microsoft would stop to make new Window Systems
and just to make updates.
