Read carefully the message: PERSONAL BACKUP means Black Hole Personal Backup and not settings backup. There are TWO different things.

Are you sure, your box is stuck.
If you have no channellist (yet), it is normal behavior that you end up seeing "bootlogo and "starting gui"".
When the clock is appearing on the box lcd, you should be able to press Menu button, and continue/finish your setup.

Is it safe to use this image?
After reading some of the responses, i am worried about trying it?

Probably a totally stupid question but Ive uploaded this image to my ultimo fine but it only brings up two satellites none of which are UK what am i doing wrong?
 
You mast first setup satelite to uk [ i think 28e ] and next put to box setting [ mast be on him uk satelite ] after this if setup LNB is good you see signal on uk chanells.
