But there is a bug in scanning channels on Astra and Hotbird, plenty of channels are missing.

Check cable first and next check LNB configuration and pointing.
Also post some details about TP / DVB Service doesen't detected.
 
I have just done a scan and after plenty of channels was missing. I have now sent the last channels list with dreamboxedit (made with blackhole 2.0.2) and it works.
The problem is in the channels scan of blackhole 2.0.3. (if i have time, il will try again to do a new scan to fix the bad transponders)

The problem is not in the image. The scan is based on satellite.xml file.
Maybe you are using and old file updloaded with previous settings. Use an update satellite.xml file.
 
Sorry, but i don't understand what you say.

When a scan is done, it generates a new satellite.xml file and in this file some transponders are missing.
If i send an old satellite.xml (scanned with old version 2.0.2) it works fine. The old files from 2.0.2 work fine with 2.0.3. But a new scan made with 2.0.3 provides a bad xml file.
Also, i have never use an uploaded file and i use always a scanned file.

No the scan is done reading the file satellite.xml
So if there are missing transponders it is because are missed in the satellite.xml file.

But now i use an xml file from 2.02 and it works fine.
All the transponders are inside and if i try a scan i will have a bad xml file.
The best way is to flash again, do a scan and do another favorite channels list.

It isn't normal to change the standard format of xml file.

satellite.xml is never overwritten by scanning.
Format of satellite.xml file is always same.

As shiro wrote, maybe you will scan transponders/satellites which aren't in xml file.

Transponders are in xml file from blackhole 2.02 and all works fine. But if i do new scan, i lose some of them.

do you do a network ON scan or no?

You are making confusion between channels list and satellite.xml.
If you import channel list from a previous version or from precompiled settings you can loose channels on new scan because the satellite.xml is not updated.

@Shiro : It works fine now (i understand what you explain). I have done a factory reset and and the scan is ok now with all transponders.
 
Hi guys. Thx for the image. Want to upgrade my Uno after a year, still have 1.7.2 BH inside. Have two questions:
- can I do direct upgrade with keeping my settings / favorites, plugins, skins etc? (Note says personal backup of previous image wont work)
- is there a need to upgrade firmware first? What version is needed?
