Black Hole Vu+ Uno 2.1.7

Thanks a lot: a very stable image. Please, next update, concentration on the following basic points:
1- crossepg becomes unstable
2- the possibility to set the time unrelated to the transponder
3- reading some videos's extensions especially MKV

1. CrossEPG is not developed by BH Team and the external component is taked "as-is".
2. Actually this is not supported. BH images are directly derived from Vu+ code, so when Vu+ adds NTP support, we support it too. Add PLI Features is not so easy as you think and we cannot want to break full compatibility with Vu+ Dev Team addictions.
3. You should generate a report of MKV files with Mediainfo tool and send them to Vu+.

What is the good choice in the OpenWebif menu to have a password in OpenWebif connection ?

I try many thinks, but without success.
 
Help

I just flashed this image blackhole 2.1.7 to my Vu+ Uno stb....
After finishing and rebooting and then downloading the catseye motor settings it seems stuck at the Starting GUI screen and won't move on from there.
The previous blackhole image I had on the machine was 1.7.6 - I did not back anything up before doing this....

What do I do now? (laymen's language please, I'm not an IT/linux geek)
 
Sorted it.
The reflash had reset my longtitude and latitude to what looks like somewhere in southern belgium(!!) (50.***n 5.***e)...once I'd managed to tell the stb where on the planet I was it all started working again.
 
incorrect working timeshift
if hdd is sleeping, then sometimes timeshift not working. i see black screen and and nothing happens.
when trying to continue watching with timeshift, video and sound is missing.
