thank
You are completely OT and you have to read our board rules before to post again: http://www.vuplus-community.net/rules.htmli've been trying for 2 days to flash my vu+uno with no luck and i am stuck with the original image and i can't start my ***** .Can someone help me?
I think ive tried every way with the usb and i get the answer success but iam stuck with the original image .
A way to check whether or not the compatible is tasting. You need to back up the old drivers and put the new and the other is the possibility to ask for more experienced users if these drivers are compatible or not and soon you'll get an answer ! Regards.
OK then can anyone tell me if the latest drivers will be compatible with my genuine VU+ Duo with BH 1.61 image installed please?
TIA
Many thanks that saves me some more troubles looks like an upgrade will be needed to get the latest drivers then. I just installed the USB Volar Green HD tuner in my box and it is working very good hope it will be OK in the newer image. They are NOT compatible.
Start to BH 1.6.7 there was a kernel change.
You have to override the existing files with the new ones and then reboot the box.In Blachole 1.7.9.-3 I did that:
"take tar.gz drivers file and unzip all files in
/lib/modules/3.1.6-12/extra
and replace old drivers"
BUT , I noticed that there is a group of 4 identical pack of drivers on the root of my image. The only difference is that they have a different date. They are characterized as 10 -1 -2013 although i have flash the Vu+Solo2 four times since that day and i have update the drivers manualy yesterday. (I extracted the 4 drivers pack inside " /lib/modules/3.1.6-12/extra").
Is it normal?
Do I have to DELETE this files on root?
Do I have to replace them also with the new drivers?
Has that anything to do with the fact that my Vu+Solo2 stuck on reboot?
I am using Blachole 1.7.9.-3 with one universe on a usb.
Reboot does not always work, make sure you power off and then back on via the switch at the rear. You have to override the existing files with the new ones and then reboot the box.
And when you power off, wait at least a minute before turning it on (not only for drivers update, but also after reflash, image update and so on).Reboot does not always work, make sure you power off and then back on via the switch at the rear.
