HowTo recognize a Solo, Duo clone.

Fast clone recognition:

1. Sticker on top of box inviting you not to flash other images, only from ********.tv
2. Rear sticker with something like V2,V3...
3. Vertically mounted circuit board on your box motherboard close to CI slot.

PS: I'll post some pictures later. No clones support on vuplus-community!

I think that externally they aren't recognizable. I'll try to search on web for pictures of stickers.

I wrote about rear sticker. "V2 or V3" on it. Buy from here http://www.vuplus-community.net/board/forums/where-i-bought-my-vu-retailers-list.13/ to be sure to buy an original one.

I'm absolutely devastated. I had the same trouble about 3 months ago, I tried to flash various new images to no avail. I phoned the person from where I bought it (online shop based in wrexham paid £349 for it and collected from his house to save delivery charge). He assured me it was genuine. It has no sticker on the top, no v2 or v3, but just opened it up and you b****ard. I'm gonna ram it down his throat the dirty scammer.
