I read from somewhere that a device can be SATA 3 compatible and not SATA 3 capable...just like when you are copying a file from a pc that has usb 2.0 to an external Hdd that is usb 3.0,you are not gonna get that speed that usb 3.0 delivers..Usually HDDs are backward compatibles (like SATA-I and SATA-II disks) but I haven't tested directly![]()
