Vu+ Newbie
Hi guys
been looking around but can,t find an answer.

will the skystar2 usb+ work with the vu+ uno, i believe the
skystar2 is a rebranded tecnotrend 2400.

If you have this device, can you post vendor_id and product_id about this device?

You can get this information from windows in hardware manager.

Whit this information we can give you a better answer

We need to know the hardware IDs of your device.
Into Windows, into Device Managment, double click your device, goto into "Details" tab and then select "Hardware ID" dropbox menu.
Copy & Paste all strings reported.

Your device seems already supported by ttusb2 driver.
You need to install the package attached to this post (upload it to /tmp folder of your box; press GREEN button -> YELLOW button and then select Manual Install BH packages).
After that connect your USB device and reboot your box)

angelofthesky 1980 thank you very much for your guidance, i installed the firmware as you said and rebooted
the box but the skystar2 did not show up in the tuner config. i,ve decided i,m going to purchase the new twin
tuner uno/ultimo on sale now.
