VU+ Duo 4K

What if we can dual-boot android (if that's even possible) then multitasking will suffer greatly under android system when running apps because of the low memory

Regarding the price RAM doesn't add much to device's cost nowadays. I'm sure you don't mind paying €30~50 euro extra for 2 additional gigabytes of RAM!
 
Fortunately, the second worst O.S. after windows, Android, cannot be installed in our beloved VU+: so, don't worry. If you liked the Android TVs, the world is full of them.
And about the 30-40€, you don't know the terrible world of competitors. Otherwise, why should a producer sell a product at, for instance, 499,99 instead of the identical 500,00? ;) Every cent counts in the competition, especially now we have search engines who list products only by their prices!
 
If it doesn't support android and its wide varieties of apps that's really disappointing (and it explains why it doesn't have more RAM), this company will not survive in iptv age because other competitors are starting to offer all-in-one dual booting devices (dreambox one for example) consumers love versatility and I'm 100% sure it will sell more if it has both android and enigma operating systems.

I'm not sure but I also heard that more RAM can also be a beneficial in decoding UHD/4K iptv streams? What about plugins can't take advantage of it?

I see you did not test DUO 4K.
It is not clear to me that you need more memory in the E2 box
I can install whatever i have and have any stream and memory usage will be below 50%.

Of course it would be good if we had Android ,but Android is doing just fine with 20 euros box.
Now that this should be crucial to us in the SAT world
I do not believe.

Yes, exactly, vvisitor: you didn't test but you know everything. Android it's a tragedy with its viruses. I won't never buy an android device. Fortunately, android has not contaminated our VU+s, yet and I'm sure it'll never do.

Can someone please help me fix this problem, i just brought my
Vu+Duo 4K 1x DVB-S2X FBC Twin Tuner PVR ready Linux Receiver UHD 2160p today, but if i scanning channels on 5.0w eutelsat streaming channels Italian RAI package it's not showing, only normal channels shows on screen, so it's there any configuration or solution i try with OPENATV and open blackhole.

Vu+ are to add multi stream soon I have asked the same question. Zero 4k is the only multi stream receiver at present.
 
Καλησπερα απο ΕΛΛΑΔΑ. Σήμερα συγχαρώ τον δορυφορικό δέκτη vu + 4K και θα ήθελα να σας ρωτήσω:

1. Υποστηρίζει αυτός ο δέκτης τη λειτουργία μετασχηματισμού;

2. Μπορώ να αποδεχτώ την εφαρμογή Netflix ώστε να μπορώ να την αποκτήσω από εκεί;

Good evening from Greece. Today I commended the satellite receiver vu + 4K, and I would like to ask you:

1. Does this receiver support the transconding function?

2. Can I accept the Netflix application so I can get it from there?

The satellite receiver is the following: vu+ duo 2 4K..
