win tv -hvr 900

i was given one of these yesterday a hauppauge wintv -hvr 900 hybrid tv stick but tried it in my vu duo last night using latest 162 final image (best ever) but cannot seem to get it to work i did google it and noticed its an old model i am just wondering if it is compatible thanks in advance guys and keep up the good work

I'm @ Work and I haven't the chanche to check your device.
Please post some details (photos) of your device and I will verify if it's supported when I come back to home.

It's very useful the output of this command:

cat /proc/bus/usb/devices

sorry just in do you mean the writing on the back of the usb tuner its m/r: 65008/a1c0 1006000DFE05A4C6 when i go into cat /proc/bus/usb/devices there is nothing there its blank

Ok, you can try to send this command:

cat /proc/bus/usb/devices > /tmp/usb.txt

And upload here the file usb.txt located into /tmp folder of your box

As reported HERE your tuner is supported.
I will try to enable (and compile) the driver you need and cross our fingers if works or not

We are working around the driver for HVR-900 and compatibles devices ... It's a little hard to determine a time to release this...

Ok guys.
I've ended the work around EM28XX driver (very intensive work ).
The compile process is done.
I will upload this night the drivers into USB Tuner Panel.

I hope your devices will work ... My HVR900 is en route .... buyed @ 10.50 euros (+ shipping)

Drivers uploaded for all Vu+ boxes. You can find into USB tuner Panel.
