What firmware did you use with this device (hvr900)
What modules from the Em28xx did you need to modify please.

Will it work with new linux kernel

There are two revisions of HVR900.
The first one with a Zarlink tuner and the second one with DRX-D.

Both are supported in BH Images and are ready-to-use.
Shutdown your box, connect the tuner, turn on box and verify if it's all ok into E2 tuner config panel.

If doesen't work correctly, post here a "dmesg" output.
