Wlan manager and ad-hoc access point

Could somebody of the Team clarify what can be done with these 2 pluging...

From my undestunding:

- 3G modem manager is for using the 3G USB modem (connect to internet without router). It's usefull when you don't have network cable near the vuplus or when you travel.

- Wireless Access Point: I think it will be a plugin to manage the wireless connection (may be you will have more options to setup others than network manager did now.)
