Check its configuration, by the GUI or, even easier, by the the OWIF (Open web interface) and change into
/media/usb/picon
or the one where you have your picons.

You uninstalled Lcd4linux without turning off the LCDSkin settings. Reinstall L4L or delete the skin_user.xml .

i solved the problem by pulling the data from earlier backup.

lcd4linux on blackhole is great. unnecessary information is not necessary, but to everyone's convenience
picony only from Doc. MD. Chocholoušek. no adjustments are needed anymore.

Well, that "unnecessary information is not necessary" seems great.
But everyone may create it's own preferences: that's how L4L works...
Mine, for instance, in the "ON" section is this, very, very minimal.
