Black Hole 2.1.4 B solo

BH version 2.1.4 is ok !!! thank you. I ask for a clarification on it . How do I know which version is the 2.1.4 version B?
 
Hi, do I need to change my loader (I have cfe_solo_2.0)? If yes, where can I find it? When I had changed software for a last time it was december 2012, so I'm not in the topic. :)

If you have no problems on charging new firmware ( image for your VU Solo STB ), you don´t need to upgrade bootloader, because is the same version, so, no beneffits to do that!

The same conclusion: I have searched on VUplus Official website and the last CFE Bootloader is V 2.0.

To avoid large size(>48M) image update problem, please update CFE of your Solo.
** NOTE ** : This Bootloader(CFE) should be used for Solo only. Otherwise it will crash the box.
** NOTE ** : CFE update is not needed for Uno and Ultimo.
** Brief explanation of Solo's bootloader update **

1. Unzip the solo_cfe_2.0_usb.zip to USB stick.(There should be /vuplus/solo/cfe_cfe_auto.bin)
2. Insert USB stick into the USB port of solo and power on the box.
3. It takes just a few secs to update.
4. If solo's front led blinks continuously, restart box.
5. To proceed with image update, you should delete the cfe_cfe_auto.bin at /vuplus/solo in USB stick once bootloader update is finished.

Just a question !!!
I would like to give my VU+solo a good recent Image
my vu+solo have an old image installed BlackHole 1.7.2 , over 2 years old, BUT always worked smooth and without trouble, that is why i never went for a new image
but now I think its time to update to a newer image
was going to install BH 2.1.4B
My question is ..do i install the new image directly or I have to update step by step till I arrive to 2,1,4B
its been a long time since I installed the old image , so I really don't know exactly what to do . I remember I installed an extension (forgot what it was ) to the software to allow more space for *******, , do i have to do the same
would appreciate some help

No needed step by step upgrade until get BH 2.14 B.

Note: If you gonna make the upgrade, why don´t upgrade to the latest BH 2.1.5.

Think in making a fullbackup " not to use on new image, because they are incompatible ", but if you want to downgrade, you´ll have a full copy to install, and that works!

never did a fullbackup, but I will try to do it before I upgrade to the latest .thanks again
