Is there an "image" for the box that is based on XBMC? So that teams could do an own image for the PrismCube? And every skin or plugin must be included (and adapted?) in this image?
Or is the receiver based on "normal" XBMC and the teams just provide plugins and skins?

The Prismcube firmware is based on Linux Openembedded + Xbmc + Marusys software thart integrated itself in Xbmc
The skin is the native Xbmc skin with the addition of all the Pvr windows. So we can tell that is a Xbmc-native-extended-skin
And yes, there will be a Black Hole image for Prismcube.
 
Can you guarantee that the BH image for the PrismCube will support the features similar to Solo2, particularly features not allowed to be mentioned at the forum;) ?
 
If it is not possible to imbed the forbidden (here) features in principle, Marusys will loose a big part of the market. I reformulate the question. Will it be possible or absolutely not ?

BH is not supporting any of out of law "you call them features". So please, stop to violate forum rules!!!!! I asked you a lot of times to Respect Forum Rules.

I am very glad that Marusys has closed all holes in the software that enabled pirates to use illegal plugins.
Artorius, it seems to me that U violate the Forum Rules ;)

I can tell you only one, maybe more thinks, NickZ. They are :offtopic:. I apologize to other members for it. I'm a member of this forum because I thought, that I can help to people, who needs help and I can be usefull for them. I've never imagine, that I'll encounter a people like you. It's up to you to decide, why I'm thinking in this way.
I've been thinking to ban myself for one week to not to read your continuos violating of Forum Rules, insulting members of staff and so on. I decided not to do it. Because there is more people, who came to this forum, because they like to be here, instead of those like you.
Please, ban yourself for at least one month to not to disturb other members of forum, at whom likes here.

Knowing he would not ban himself for a month I have helped him.
Maybe a little time to reflect may help him.
 
Next time the ban will be permanent.

Back to the topic i suppose that the main Vu+ teams, not only Black Hole but Vti too will support Prismcube with their images.
But you have to understand that e2 images have benn developed for years.
Prismcube system software is new so all will have to be started form zero.

Totally agree, it's a new concept and maybe a new era for Sat viewing, like when I left my Humax for a Linux e1 box.
Everything changes.

So it's not based on livetv or something simular?
It's certainly not started from zero...

yes i think so too, its just begning, many changes will happen, hardware, software, speed, pugins, skins,
i think, company will wait until Duo2 will be in market, and then PC will come otherwise no 1 will buy Duo2, or maybe they r changing some hardware in PC, coz my friend tested PC 2 months ago and he said HD chanels bit freez and without BH , He was not very satisfied, lets see i hope they will do some change in hardware,
I am planning for DUO2

I am from Amsterdam , i checked but didnt see any shop offring PC,
I will wait and will not use PC with BH,
 
The price? You can compare Prismcube with Solo2. They are quite similar - 2x DVB-S2, 12 digit VFD, slot for 2,5" HDD, CI slot, Smartcard reader. Ruby has more Flash and Ram, runs XBMC, and 3D graphics capable.
Analyzing by this way the prices could be equal.
