On the same transponder it should be possible. But I'd try leaving the B unconfigured. After all, even having only one tuner it is possible to record from the same transponder.
Obviously, only FTA channels, anyway. Crypted one can't be used at the same time neither by many tuners nor if in the same transponder because you can't simply decrypt two channels at the time by your smartcard. It's a limitaton of the smartcards.
 
We are mixing too many subjects in this thread, as usual. Please, open a new one in case you need further support.
Meanwhile, if you need a list of many events like the one I attach to this post, you need MultiEPG (that's different from MultiGraphicEPG).

Hi,

Probably these are very stupid questions but I am quite new to all this,
and my dream would be to get rid of as many boxes as possible.
At present I have one small box for kodi, one for BT, one for amazon prime

is it possible either to install Kodi on the Vu+ duo 4 K, mostly to watch movies that
I have on my hard disk in a variety of formats or if there are other viable solutions?

Can the box be used to stream from a browser/app like a standard PC, to watch amazon prime or BT sport with regular subscriptions?

Hi all, I have two important problems with my new Duo 4K.

My receiver info:

Problem 1: I've 2TB Seagate USB 3.0 portable HDD. It's NTFS and full. So I have no option to format it as ext4. Also I've plugged a 320GB NTFS HDD inside it. I've no problem with this one. But When I attempt to mount the 2TB one, it doesn't mount with any muntpoint at all. I've tried all the USB ports, and even dissassembled and insert it within the back tray but no luck. I had no problem with other images like Open BlackHole, VTi, OpenATV... But I definitely wish to use BlackHole. The reason why I don't want to use OpenBlackHole is that it lacks FCC.

Problem 2: On some channels in 42 E Turksat (TivibuSpor 1, Bloomberght...) there is drops in audio. This problem exists on all the images with Duo 4K. But on same channels. I've tried various channel settings, even tried changing the frequency and scanning again, but with no luck again. The result is the same with their duplicate channels.

Based on other discussions, it seems not possible to use a NTFS HDD larger or equal to 2Tb by BH. So you need another disk to copy your content from.
It will be useful anyway, because if your content is so important, you should know that disks' life is not infinite...
 
Installed this image then I want to try open BH image but the receiver keep showing reading USB , programming then reboot to the same black hole image with out any change
try different image but I cant not flash any of them
What could be the reason

Disconnect everything from the box including the harddisk.
Format USB (if you have a problem try another USB stik)
Unpack ZIP, Copy all folders from ZIP to USB stik.
Check that you copied everything.
Everything else, by standard procedure.

format the USB fat 32
all file unzipped and copied to USB
but problem still exist
I was able to load BH 3.0.8 and updated on line to 3.0.8 A but now did not load any image

What happens then if you flash image ?
What are you seeing on the LCD ?
whether the process is completed and the LCD says box reboot after flash ??

Other question (just in case of a distraction, even if you say you've already flashed images before): how do you copy the image files?
Do you save the structure created by the unzipping? Because, some people just copy all the files in the most internal folder to the USB stick root.
You must copy the whole structure
vuplus/"your-model"/

And, last but not least, are you sure you downloaded the right image for your box? Some people tried to use, f.i., the Duo4K file to flash a Duo2, or similar.
 
the model is Vu Duo 4K
I was able to flash BH 3.0.8 one time only from the original image that came with the receiver which recently bought
I unzipped the download image to create default folder vuplus then copied to USB
 
You have not answered questions ??
What you see in the LCD when you start flash ?
(do you get the question to press the PWR button on the receiver)
and what do you see when the flash is finished (if it is finished) ?
