Yes my friend MX, if is flashed again he have to do that way, but I don't know if he turn off/on again after first install, sometimes don't need flash again, just need turn off/on the back button once again when the "starting" message keep on display.

I tried this three times....:

Format USB stick (not quick) FAT32
Copy vuplus folder to root of USB stick
Insert USB stick into front vu+ USB port
Power on
Reads USB and Programs the box
Power Off
Remove USB
Reboot
Stuck on "Starting..." on the front panel

Still not working

USB stick works fine with 4 other images as stated above so no probs with the USB stick

It is.If you using Multiboot on VU Duo
since "starting" problem does not occur every time
and therefore it is the right solution in post 4

then the starting problem does not occur.

But if you do not use multiboot, only BH image
Then you can use the USB stick in FAT32 format for picons,CrossEPG etc.
So only mount and not the format in the image Devices manager
And then you have also no "starting" problem

I flash image at least four times in my box.

Are you sure that the file is good.
Otherwise I do not know the cause of your problem.

Change your USB port to rear one. For me the front doesn't work correctly sometimes and fails.

For now I don't use multiboot, I have the USB stick formated in FAT32 for picons and EPG, and sometimes (less than 10% of times) when I reboot the box, I have "starting" problem and I have to turn off/on the back power button.

Did you download the right file? You have to download the right file for your VU+ (Solo, Duo, Uno or Ultimo). If yes, download again.

Hi Guys

Tks again for the excellent BH image 1.7.0 = the same installed in flash as well as Meoboot  BH team you are BEST :thanks:

Now when I check the System info, it shows Total memory 97% used, as well as Ram 97% used and the color is Brown = Is this normal for VU+duo. The flash shows 22%. Will this slow down the function?. I have observed that the opening/changing of FTA channels is also slow.

Thanks for your comments.

B/Rgds

PS: The CEC on my Sony TV wkg Now - ON/OFF function Bravo

I noticed that Screenshot (All) for HD channels does not work unfortunately.

So if i go in bêta after from the beta it will work ?
1.6.6 to 1.6.7 b backup ...
1.6.7b to 1.6.7 final and restore the 1.6.7b backup ?

thanks
No, just from 1.6.7, not because beta release, that's because new kernel 3.1.1.
You can backup your settings and restore them only by Software Manager

thanks

Yes, in BH image you have Software Manager

Go to"Menu/Settings/Software management", then "Advanced Options" to choose what files you want backup (Choose backup files) and where you want do it (HDD or USB stick), then you go back again to "Backup System Settings", press ok and you will see the backup progress.
To restore the backup, go to "Menu/Settings/Software management/Restore system settings".
