I have installed BH 1.7.5 on my VU+DUO. |Using Vu+CC I have "installed" with IPK Installer the plug ******* 5.8_mispel.
I gives me the following errors:
*Package enigma2-plugin-extensions-******* wants to install file /usr/script
But that file is already provided by package *vuplus-blackhole

This thread deals with the BH image not with the external plugins.
If there is any plugin problem, you have to contact his author.

First , thanks to the great team.
I enjoyed BH 1.75 for few days.I installed , because of i am curious, some ( 5 ) other recent unofficial images on multiboot ( mounted usb exclusively dedicated) .All other image work well!!! but when i restart and boot from flash ( BH 1.75) it stops on botting gui.My question is : can unofficial image installed on multibbot corrupt the flash?

It's possible when you make online updates into multibooted image who something on the flash happen......

So sorry for a noob question but I upgraded Black hole image from an earlier version to 1.7.3 and i lost my lets say the thing you cant talk about here.

I had all my other stuff back up bouquets timers on the DB control centre so that was OK.
i wont to upgrade to 1.7.5 is there a way I can do it without bugging him at his place?
I know how to FTP files if that helps and how to upgrade the black hole image but cant seem to keep the important stuff.

If you have an HDD or an USB stick connected to your Duo, you can make a backup via "BH Personal Backup" plugin and after installing the new image you can restore it.
Menu > BH Personal Backup

yep I thought i did that, I have 500 gig internal HD when i went to upload it back there was noting there!
so i had it backed up on the DB control centre but not the thing we can talk about'
maybe I be some thing wrong the first time iam gonna try backing it up now i let ya know thanks for the quick reply Mito

E2 version is NOT RELATED TO OpenEmbedded (OE) version.
Vu+ boxes have their E2 version based on Vu+ OE 1.6 repositories.
