I have an external HDD 500G and wish to utilise only the rear USB port. Can I partition the HDD in 3, as media/USB, /universe and media/HDD? Or I have to do the media/USB and /universe on seperate USB and let the 500G HDD just for recording thus using also the front USB port.

You can partition your external USB HDD as you want with BH 1.7.5 up to 4 partitions :) and map these partitions as you like.

I have intsalled this Version On my box and all looks good, the only problem I have found is that after selecting restart from the menu
it hangs and nothing.

I have to turn the box off from the power and on again.

I attached a serial cable and this is what I found,

I think you have a clone box OR you don't have updated the CFE.
Please post ENTIRE serial output.

Maybe it is not the proper thread to post a question like this one...
Forgive me if i am wrong... (Please the Operators to remove my post if it is not in the right thread)
I just flashed my box with the latest image and i want now to connect to the net through my wireless network...
I have the following wi-fi usb stick TP-LINK TL-WN821N but i can not connect to the internet...
Moreover, i can see nowhere the stick in my image menu...
There are two options...
The image does not recognize the specific wi-fi stick or i do something wrong...
Can anyone help me with this problem?

What setting U have @Menu>Setup>System>Network>Adapter settings>Use DHCP.....change to Yes!

I have already tried this but no success...
My inquire is that i can not see anywhere the usb stick from the menu...
Normally, it should appear in the menu, shouldn't it?

If you have just connected ONLY USB WLAN dongle
on USB port
The image does not recognize after image reboot.
I am afraid that there is no support for TP-LINK TL-WN821N .

I just did the above but with no success again :(
I am afraid, too, that there is no support for this dongle...
What a pity...
Isn't there any other solution?
Any code?
Any support to the next image, maybe??


One more question....
The least month i have noticed that the box is overheated, especially on the top...
I mean that "overheated" in comparison to the past of course...
But there is no change to any settings or the place of the box...
Any idea?


P.S. The processor is running as usual...

2. You are right. But i think it is abnormal to feel such a heat on the surface of the box... Never mind! The point is that the box is running all good!
