Black Hole Vu+ Solo2 v. 2.0.4

Hi guys, sorry but i have no idea how to install a new image on my solo2. It came with vix but now i would like to install this image. Would anyone be so kind to give me instructions ? Many thanks in advance !!!
 
I have problem with external USB HDD drives 1 TB with NTFS file systems. The drives is mounted and i can read it but i can't write on it. When the NTFS drive is mounted it's a read only. The problem is only with NTFS partitions. With other type of file systems (FAT32,ext3) have no problem!
 
Hi Guys

since update to 2.0.4 I cant install add-ons from the black-hole server,it goes as far as saying add-on successfully installed but it doesnt restart/install the add on.

is there a setting that im missing?

hi!
it is happened to me once, sometimes there of disconnections between your web and BH server .
The next day I uninstalled rebooted and reinstalled it worked.

when you say uninstalled are you talking about the 2.0.4 image?

Works fine for me, can only think your internet connection is not working, connection from router to solo2 is not working, your image has not flashed correctly so you need to reflash or some plugin/none standard skin you've installed has corrupted things. Let us know how you get on and good luck!

Just to add, maybe re download the image if a re flash is needed, the first flash may of not downloaded correctly.

I couldn't download any add-ons from the BH server,the problem was being caused by a certain third party "panel"..... which I wont be installing any more.

flashed to 2.0.5 problem solved -installed the "panel" -problem returned.

Now running 2.0.5 with BH official add ons only and the problem hasn't returned.

As it might help someone else this is what I did to get rid of the problem.
I had installed LCD picons (purely due to being newbie with BH) & this is what was causing this problem. This is what I did to get rid of the problem.

Deleted the below folder completely:
\usr\share\enigma2\piconlcd\

Also deleted skin_user.xml from /etc/enigma2

Finally, rebooted the box and everything is be back to normal :)

Thanks mate this helped me solve the problem too prevented me refreshing. Its interesting this problem is still valid on the 2.1.1.

Seems you have some network problems (check DNS for that or setup your box with Google DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4).
