Morning! I have tried so many times to update and I'm either missing something or I do not know what! Currently running BH 1.7.9 and want to update to 2.0.4, tried 10 FAT32/FAT usb sticks, \vuplus\uno\ directory as mentioned, front/rear ports, no hdd connected, but nothing. I don't get the prompt on the stp display to start update, it simply boots normally. Sorry for the - perhaps noob - question but I have searched and couldn't figure out what I am doing wrong here. Box is genuine VU+ uno, not a clone of course. Is there an intermediate update that needs to be done? Many thanks

No intermediate uptdates needs.
Try with another lowsized USB stick and remove ALL other USB devices connected

HI Shiro.Nobody can reply because nobody can know what are your preferences and box usage.
If it is so difficoult for you to setup the box you can stay with old version.
Maybe it is most important that you start to learn howto setup your box by yourself.
HI Shiro.
I use a Vu+uno. It is used for U.K. family viewing.Just normal, everyday usage.I have had these systems since the early days when you had to programme them via your remote(whenever a service 'went down').
Flashing the image is easy enough aswell as basic setup but, when it comes to putting the 'important' stuff back on for reconnection, that's when I run into problem's.
what a ugly skin !!! i came back to "touchHD" wich is one of the best, of course, after "Army transparencyHD" ...
