HowTo flash/update Vu+ images

Which image are you trying to install?
Black Hole 3.0.2A or Open Black Hole 0.4?
Both images load in the same way, download, and unzip, the image:

Place the vuplus folder onto your USB stick.
Switch off your receiver, at the rear.
Insert the USB stick into the rear USB port, on the receiver.
Switch on the power, at the rear, and the Black Hole image should load.
Once the image has loaded the white circle should change from pulsing, to blinking, at which point you can turn off the receiver, at the rear, remove the USB stick, and switch it on again.
 
It shouldn't take 20 minutes, try switching it off, at the rear, removing the USB stick, then switching it on again, and see if it boots up, and allows you to configure the receiver.
 
Nothing, one thing.
The usb pen have to be formated in fat32 with a special program or could be in windows 7 "My Computer"?
And the Cluster size, could be "default size" or "512 bytes" or "16KB" ... this could interfer with the pen be recognized or not?

You format it to FAT 32 on your PC, the older, smaller, cheaper, USB sticks tend to work better than the larger, more expensive, ones, at least in my experience.
I tend to use a cheap Toshiba 8 GB one, that has worked on numerous occasions.
I would delete all image files, from your PC, for Black Hole, and download a fresh version.

Can you please confirm that you have the VU+ Solo SE v2, and not a different model VU+.

For flash your STB, you must have all your USB devices disconnected from your STB.
Example:

other USB pen drive
HDD usb drive
USB dtt tuners

Note: An USB 3.0 pen drive may not work for flashing it ... Try too, with another USB 2.0 pen drive.

Hello, I flash OpenPLi 4.0 by MastaG with IPTV, led blinks on the front panel, and i start the reciever but stop on boot image. I try with another image Blackhole and its the same. Whats the problem ?

Can you please post here a photo from your STB, regarding this details:

Photos from back, front and up faces of your STB.
Name and Model of your Vuplus Original STB.

Hi I am a Newbie to this forum, my Parents have a sunraybox mini solo, it has holographic sticker on rear that states solo2 sim v2, currently it is running Black Hole 1.7.9 Build Dec 6,2012 and I want to upgrade to latest with Kodi is this possible? I tried the image onto 2 different USB sticks but it does nothing but boot into existing system. What am I missing?
 
That is a clone, as VU+ do not make such a model.
If you want to use the latest Black Hole, and Kodi, then you need to buy a genuine VU+ Solo 2.

Hi can a vu duo be flashed without using the USB option. I would like to load the image file on directly to the box via FTP due to issue with USB flashing.?

i try to update flash image on usb stik buth not work over ssh i chanot conect factory reset not work over con i see that error
