I started coding LCD skins for VU Ultimo.
This is a test version with picon in which I coded for now
InfoBarSummary
and
ChannelSelection_summary

In The packages are Picons HB 13E and Astra 19.2
(Thanks @Shiro)

They can be installed on the USB
or flash
Use only one.
The installation takes longer because of many picon files

I have tested a very short

Larger collection of picon
Astra 19.2e / HB 13e and some channels on 23E
This collection consists of picon of different format
(132x46 and 93x50 thanks to authors for LCD picons)
because we still not have a good standard for LCD Picon
and picons for all satellites.
This picons you have to FTP in to piconlcd folder.

I do not know if we have on the forum members who are making
LCD Picon

I think it would be the best format size
(+-) 120x45 or 110x40

I've found a glitch!

If you got to a channel which has a long program name (ie. the roller kicks in) and then go to a channel that has a short program name, the VFD still displays the program name from the previous channel

If you wait until the roller has finished and then change channel, it works fine!

I hope that makes sense!

Also...when a recording starts, it notifies you in the VFD where the picon is but it doesn't disappear!

I think there needs to be a refresh of some sort?

OK I have remove roller.
Roller is not working properly
I think it's all faster without it.

I would love if someone can start to make specifically for VU smaller picons
maximum 120x45 , better 110x40/45
Then we would have more room for channel names and bigger fonts.
Recording ico working OK ???

There is another issue....when recording a channel, a second set of 'status' icons appear at the top right of the VFD (the DD, widescreen, HD, etc)

I've made a couple of 110x40 picons for 28E and agree they look well.....hopefully a standard size can be agreed by the usual parties!

I do not see any icon at the right side
We're talking about main infobar and channel selection.

Explain this a little more

ok...

here is what I see when I start recording on current channel -

The message ' a recording has started : Celebrity Mastermind' doesn't fully disappear (refresh required?)

I then change channels and start to record a second program -

This is ok....but then i change back to the original channel (new program has started btw) -

See the second set of program status icons? (These disappear when you change channels again)

Also....messages in general stay in the VFD after they've been displayed on screen....I went into cool TV guide and it tells me a recording timer has moved....here is what is displayed after -

This will disappear when the channel is changed...

Running 1.6.7 B2 with latest drivers....

Have you tested with a clean image without the plugin ??
If this causes the plugin I can not change.

The Cool TV plugin? That was just an example....any message displayed will remain in part on the VFD after it disappears from the TV screen...

No Any mix of Text from other panels .
Which drivers You have in image ?

I'm using the latest drivers dated today but this issue has been there since the start....I've just managed to get a hour to thoroughly test today lol

My skin is SmokePro HD by Army
