Open BlackHole Online Update

One question please for you and for all, please. For settings backup(not full backup) what folders and files you backup?
What has to do the backup's path with its content? It has nothing to do!
Personal backup can't probably backup all of what you want. But this does not depend on the final path.
And the path itself is your choice: this, obviously, change nothing in the result.

Yes it's true. But I'm confuse what need backup for restore important things after upgrade for example. In your case, what folders or files you backup? If you need restore after upgrade? Now you need restore 4.3 settings for upgrade to 4.4. You don't want configure everything from beginning, i think. It's this my confusion. What need backup for restore after upgrade my box. Sorry my English and thanks for help

Use a tool like dreamboxedit, dreamset, or other utility, to back up your channels, and bouquets, which can then quickly be transferred back, following an upgrade.

You don't need to restore your open black hole 4.3 backup, to use open black hole 4.4, it's just an option.

Everything else depends on your setup, fixed dish, multiple LNB's, using Diseqc switches, motorized dish using USALS, or motorized dish using advanced settings and separate positioner, like a V-Box II.

KODI is stored on your hard drive, if you have one, so doesn't require a backup.

Without knowing your VU+ model, and your setup, there's not a lot we can advise.

I have vu zero 4k and yes i have hd with pvr kit and have diseqc with 2 sats. I never used dreambox edit or something. I think can backup settings with this options

Personal backup has never been satisfactory, neither under BH, nor under BH. Nonetheless, after I installed OBH 4.4, I decided to give it another chance. And this time, surprisingly, it was able to really restore every plugins, every settings (included the key assignments), everything.
So, I was glad to be ready without the usual work of re-customization. Which is not such a tragedy, by the way.
So, I really don't understand your problem: under OBH there is no option about what personal settings you want to save. This means you cannot have done any mess.
And, as I said, this time it should be very good at restoring every customizations you had. Unless you did the right personal backup under 4.3 before flashing 4.4, of course.
If you did and the reimporting is not as satisfactory in your case... well: no tragedy: you'll have a clean image to customise again.

You can find dreamboxEDIT in the tools & settings section:
https://www.vuplus-community.net/board/forums/vu-tools-settings.10/

Using it is easy, set up a new folder, on your PC desktop, and call it settings, default name, and location. Start up dreamboxedit. Go to Tools, and click on options. Type in your receivers IP Address, username is root, and the password, you've set on your VU+ receiver.
Click the test options, and if working Save.

Next go to File and click Fast FTP Download, you should now see all your channels, and Bouquets, which you can edit, or just save, to upload, back to your receiver, when needed.

After update to 4.4.002 for Solo4K, after checking again for new updates (and with the image installed in flash, not in OMB) I got this warning:

Not selecting libx264-161 r2970+git0+4121277b40 as installing it would break existing dependencies

I've never had such messages in case of images in flash: it sometimes happen something similar but only if you run images from OMB.
It's an oe-a issue, libx264 didn't get updated correctly for some reason when they bumped kodi from 18.8 to 18.9

Only way to fix it, is remove kodi, do a settings backup then reinstall 4.4.001 restore your backup and then update to 4.4.002

Strange: I've never installed Kodi 'cause I hate it and, as a matter of fact, there is no hidden .kodi folder in my devices.
But, apart from the update icon that keeps showing off, is not a big deal: maybe it will disappear by itself after some future update.

Well if you don't have kodi installed, you have some other package that installs some of the kodi dependencies (libavcodec58 is installed and that requires libx264).
I don't have a list of all plugins that install libavcodec58 or libx264, but probably something like iptvplayer or mediaportal uses these too.

Either way it won't ever fix itself.

So you need to reflash and update to 4.4.002 to get rid of the issue.

libavcodec58 is part of the FFmpeg
libavcodec is a free and open-source library of codecs for encoding and decoding video and ... H.264/MPEG-4 AVC
So no plugin is installing this file.

libx264 won't update as it's a dependency for libavcodec58

However libavcodec58 is not installed by default with OBH (or vix).

Therefore if you don't install a plugin that requires libavcodec58 (or libx254) then you don't get the error when updating.

When trying to remove libavcodec58 (to see if libx264 could be force updated) it gave me a warning that libavcodec58 is a dependency for kodi, but then I guess it just picks the first plugin installed that requires that lib, rather than list them all.
