sorry if i sounded harsh, i think the A/V settings are the problem with my set up!
they seem to be over the top if that makes any sense, almost as if the contrast is to heavy no matter how much i tweek the settings. I never had a problem with 1.7.2 the picture was great!.
Any help on this would be appreciated,,,,

load a shut of U'r settings,,,lets see what you have?

You have format your USB stick with Usb format Wizard
and mount with Devices Manager ??
 
I do not know what you're doing with the image
MeoBoot works great on all VU+ receivers.
Use a clean image a good USB stick
make format and mount.
and have to work.
 
My advice

I read here at the forum how people install everything in your images.
Skins with a few MB python files coding ( I call this skins image in the image)
Thanks to the authors but this is totally wrong goal for Skinner ,
plugins larger than the BH added image coding and the like.
Is it more important image
or a pair of largely unnecessary add-ons in a plugin ??

Be very choosy when installing add-ons and skins
not done by the BH team.
Worst of all this is when you want to free yourself from the installed
half remain in the image
and then when you have a problem you do think problem in the image.
I personally do not install anything before I see the contents of what I want to install
If you want your image to be a fast and stable.

Dear All, i upgrade my vu from USB with 173. Looks nice, great new features. I DID NOT install nothing extra, no extra plugins instaleld, only the previusly used sat settings,
-My VU stops after certain time, enigma freezes , its sometimes 30 minutes, sometimes 2 hours, i cant find the logical reason when its stops, i need restart the unit on back switch.
-means not responding on any command, pictures freezed, no ftp connection..
-I reupload my backup from 172 . it works fine for now.

Any ide what can be ? the VU UNO is BRAND new from box( i took one from the box-)

Hum, idonno-- i upload immidiatly , dint switched on to see. i have more here.-. but its comes from the factory i opened the BIG box. i must check?
oh,-i did the FPGA upgrade- thats was the first thing..

-Shoild i open one more to answer the question?
