Just bought a New duo2 , do I have update the bootloader before I install the last image ? Vu+duo is still in the Box ,can`t wait to use it

its depends which version of bootloader on the box you can find bootloader here just incase if you needed

Might be a stupid question and sorry if it is but.. Will this image go onto my dm800hd box? As I have a vu plus black hole image on at the moment which I got off a friend and is the best I have ever had regards

You have to use FTP not telnet to replace boot file
link to files is /boot/
or
/usr/share/vuplus-bootlogo/
