No. You've got to flash the new image but you can use your personal backup from the old 2.0.5 one.

I personally do not like the restoration of backup, I use it only if I have problems

I've made some tests around A828 drivers provided by Avermedia (cthe chip manufacturer) but they are only for x86 and/or x86_64 platforms with static objects in binary form and, actually, there is not possibility to port this driver to MIPS arch like our Vu+.
I'm not so experienced to code a driver from scratch

hi, i had BH 2.0.5 working fine but decided to reflash and load 2.0.6 and the startup screen sticks on "loading default", have tried reformatting usb and reloading plus different usb same thing happens screen still sticks at the same point. i have noticed in post 1 that the memory size of the file says 63.4Mb but when i download to my pc it is 66.5Mb. any help?

Your problem is related to other software pieces external of BH image.
