Black Hole 1.7.6 will not start, I can not install new image from USB

My Ultimo has stopped working.
It started with that I could not start BH image, it stopped at Start GUI picture.
I have Meoboot and I could use other images as OpenAAF.
Then I installed the new firmware upgrade 4.5, and I installed the new OpenAAF 2.0 image.
I could still start and use OpenAAF 2.0 image.

I decided I would install OpenAAF in flash memory, but I could not get Ultimo to reconize a new image on the USB. I then used ftp to remove Meoboot, and now I only can start BH image and it freeze at Start GUI picture.

I know I have done something wrong, and that I need help.
What shall I do to get the Ultimo to work again?
How can I get BH image to work again?
How can I get Ultimo to install new images from USB again?

You are right. Just use search function, there are many topics about software/firmware update. Just search and read.
