Language translators

well sorry to read something sad,
ok I know that it is also at enigma2 that must not be translated,
I got the file from here and enigma2 can translate it but anyway,
no matter if I have no time, then I adjust myself in my Uno.

Hoping that my post http://www.vuplus-community.net/board/threads/black-hole-vu-ultimo-v-2-0-0-rev-a.11192/ was the reason for this post and having seen so many translators that shows that the vu+ community is above all in cooperation and improvement of the software and deserves enjoying high quality services. Although this is for good it's hard to translate the same language by different people and giving different explanations, especially when we're talking about technical terminology. As anyone has seen the final approval will be given by vu+ community, but of course this has nothing to do with the translation, otherwise if the vu+ team knew all the languages all the problems would have been resolved.
1. Having done almost 50% of the translation for the Greek language a week ago I sent e-mail to the vu+ team, answering to the respective that I received announcing this post, and I was asking some clarifications regarding the dreambox text and relative links for dreambox 7025, but no answer received.
2. Many translators that have already started may be have realized that in many cases when the translated text is larger than the original length then some letters cut, meaning that the default space is not enough. If the vu+ team needs further info then I'll upload some photos.

What exactly do you mean by this?
Did you ask VU+ team for explanations regarding dreambox? If so, then it is quite expected that they will never answer...

Please check here for the greek translation. I had in mind this problem while translating and checked every single phrase if it fits OK in the GUI.
I have provided a first version and in a few days there will be a final one (I had some delays because of lack of free time... I have to work too...)
Please check it and provide feedback...

Since you have started translated then certainly you have seen in the original vu+ text some phrases and link(s) regarding dreambox. See below:
"Adds enigma2 settings and dreambox model informations like SN, rev... if enabled."
"Update done... The genuine dreambox test will now be rerun and should not ask you to update again."
"Verify your STB authenticity by running the genuine dreambox plugin!"
"HDTV recordings can only be burned in proprietary dreambox format."
"After the start wizard is completed, you need to protect single services. Refer to your dreambox's manual on how to do that."
"You need a PC connected to your dreambox. If you need further instructions, please visit the website http://www.dm7025.de."

I think we can put box or STB instead of dreambox.
And if there are other terms can be asked are.

Now it's clear what you mean...
You mean all these left behind from the past of enigma2...
Of course I have taken into consideration all these strings, and I have translated them as "box" ("δέκτης" in greek) and even "Vu+" in some cases.
It would be quite stupid to leave the term "dreambox" for an image targeted to Vu users...

The translation does not belong to me. It belongs to the community of Black Hole users.
Anybody can contribute to the project. It just happened that I was the first to apply for the translation and started earlier.
I am near finishing the translation at the moment, so it's a little bit difficult to synchronize our work. We should check almost everything from the beginning and I don't have the free time to do that.
I can see 2 options here: you can wait for my final version (during next week) and then test it and provide feedback, or I can stop here and you continue the translation with your own text, I really have no problem with that.
