Open BlackHole Online Update

I get it but it looks a bit confusing ;) I have always thought that the last update is when I update the image after flashing.
But i get that the info have to be there from the start so before I do any update my self there will be the ceration date of the update package

To avoid confusion, simple and sample: LOL

1) Image flashed at 2021-09-30

2) last update > 2021-10-21

Other situation:

1) Image flashed at 2021-10-22 ( today )

2) last update > 2021-10-21

Flash image date is the day when you flash ( or unpacked using OMB ) the image ... of course it can´t devolves out the day for the update ( after or before ) the image was created ( flashed )!

I understand but stil for the common userl it's confusing and should say build date instead, I assume that we don't post any backup images :lol:
In that case the info would be when i updated the image and made my backup and flash date would be when you flashed the backup image ;)

Hello, in the new Open Black Hole image, the Setup Animation plugin has been removed. Please add this Setup Animation plugin. Instead of improving the image and adding the plugin, it will be removed from the plugin image. Add the Setup Animation plugin.
 
Yes, we understand that, as always happens, when an operative system goes forward, it's the software that need to be updated by their authors.
But everyone blame the OS, not the lazyness of the SW writers.
It was known in advance that some plugins wouldn't be compaible: so, it's the case to moan at the plugins' authors, in case, not to the image coders.
And what plugins are mentioned in that forum, also? An illegal one and a never-heard-of one.
But, whatever the plugin, it's up to them to stay updated.
I've seen this moaning many, many times in IT world. So, maybe you would like to still use Wordstar for DOS 3.20, do you? In this case, you can go back to 1988.

Bug from software not plugins ....
 
Dear developers have worked so hard to make a great openbh5.0, shocked and cheered. I saw some friends complaining constantly, which made me feel shame and sad. Developers are not tired of hard work in black and white, so I should do it for you. Service? What are you doing? Don’t find the reason for yourself, and keep complaining. Some of the plug-ins are too old and belong to the plug-in developer. Indiscriminate condemnation and complaining. Ask yourself where your conscience is. You can check the development tab. , The workload of the development master every day. This is a newborn system. It needs to be optimized little by little. Can it be done by complaining? We don’t have the technology. We can tell the developers to fix the problems we encounter and get better Experience. Cheers last

Always the same story with change.
Do you want to use old images your whole life ?
Of course there are a lot of bugs and plugins that don't work.
So there are only two options.
Or keep using the old image or uses new and follows developments.
The new plugins will probably no longer work on the old image.
Just like some old ones won't work with PY3 images.
This is called the transition phase ,which we had before in E2 images.
