USB DVB-S S2 supported?

Thanks Angelo, I'm going to try the Tevii if I can found one at a reasonable price.

I understand that additional S2 USB tuners aren't generally useful for who owns a sat box.
Somebody with a Terratec S7 USB DVB-S2 out there?

Actually I don't know what Terratec devices are supported and what aren't

Following are supported by linux and thus supported by vuplus kernel.
Might not be supported out of box, but you can try patching the kernel sources.

Always nice to have more options for streaming sat signal...I would not reason out the option of a usbtuner.

I own that USB DVB-S2 tuner but unfortunately it doesn't work with BH 2.0.9.1 (more about that on my thread).
Moreover, current new hardware revisions could be different from the models previously supported.
Maybe there are some patches/firmware to apply, but I couldn't find any.

Terratec's products support for Linux has apparently been completely abandoned (the web site linux.terratec.de/linux.terratec.com is no longer active).

TeVii products are compatible, but I suspect they use a bit outdated components nowadays.

No way. dvb-fe-ds3000.fw is already included in BH. Your HW version is not supported by Linux. Sorry :(

Hello Everyone,
I just need your help & advice on that.

I have Vu+ Solo 2 with 2 tuners which are already built in there, I also had another Duo 2 which I had installed another Tuner that includes 2 in addition to the 2 which are already built in.

So, I'm wondering if there will be any possibility to add additional Tuners to my Solo 2 to become with 3 or 4 Tuners if possible and would that be supported by BH.

If yes, please provide me with the compatible USB DVB-S2 models and where can I order it?

For the Duo2 I had already 4 Tuners which are plugged in, would there be any possibility to add more? I'm not quite sure about the maximum amount of Tuners Duo2 can handle.

I appreciate your valuable feedback guys.

As far as the external USB DVB-S2 tuners are correctly recognized by the image, you can use one or more of them.
The problem is just to find USB tuners that are supported...

Dear Angelofsky1980,

I upgraded my vu+duo2 to blackhole 2.1.1, and I detecteted my TeVii S660 dosn't work with DVB-S2 channel only with DVB-S! :(
It was working in the past, i don't know which firmware, but i know it was working!
Can you try it or can you write me what can i do for a succes?

Sincerelly, Tom5
