USB DVB-S S2 supported?

My TeVii S660 is working very well with my Vu+ Ultimo (1.6.7 beta 2), but no audio with Dolby Digital channels.
If I select a Dolby Digital downmix, than the audio is ok.

angelofsky1980: This Dolby Digital problem maybe resolve with new driver?

When I connect 2 TeVii S660, and the Ultimo has 5 DVB-S2 tuners, than the 5. isn"t working. It's nomal? Can Enigma2 use max 4 tuners?

WOW!
5 DVB-S2 tuners!
About DD audio tracks: eems a driver issue but I cannot verify this affermation. I haven't (now) another DVB-S2 device to check it but I've in my wish-list a PCTV 460e ;)
For the 5 tuner question .... I don't know :( I'm sure dvbapp support 4 tuner (A to D) ... can you change one of the internal or USB tuners to another frontend like DVB-T or DVB-C?

I have only DVB-S2 tuners, I can't change to DVB-T or DVB-C.
When I use a TeVii, sometimes the screen is freeze or stall. It's normal with USB tuners?

It'0s normal because HD stream can be very big.
You can try with an external powered HUB USB ... but I've same freezes when I try DD tracks. With downmix enabled the USB tuner working it's acceptable.

thanks you encourage me to buy it and i will.

I tried S660 with Vu+ Solo. Solo is too slow with 2HD channels. If you record HD channel with built in tuner, than you can view or record only SD channel with S660. The cpu is running on 100% with 2 HD channels.
S660 is working normally with Vu+ Duo and Vu+ Ultimo, I can't try it with Vu+ Uno.
Ultimo is running only on 40-50% when i recorded 4 HD channels from different tuners and view the 5th HD on the TV with permanent time shifting to NFS share.
I found some HD Channels, that are wrong with S660, and others are good. (HBO HD Hungary on O,8W SID 31005)
DD sound only with DD downmix.
I hope, these problems will be resolved in future drivers!
The S660's Beta3 driver is same Beta2 driver.

@ ToM5,
thank for good news with 2 USB SAT tuners working on ULTIMO, I tested Tevii S660 on VU+ DUO, just I am getting short with RAM memory,
so adding 2 SAT USB tuners will be probably too much...how many RAM You have free on ULTIMO ?
Is any other DVB-S2 USB tuner supported with VU+ Duo ? (I have red somthing about Sundtek)

Sundtek uses their propietary drivers. You can use these kind of devices but I don't guaranteee the simultaneous use with standard DVB USB devices into boxes.
Some other devices are been supported but a list is not yet ready :(

The general list for "Linux supported" USB DVB-S2 tuners is here : http://linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Category:DVB-S2_USB_Devices
I like most the Qbox, top one is the Qbox TBS5925 - Blind scan, can decode CCM, VCM and ACM, 8PSK /QPSK/16APSK/32APSK (Pofessional class with SP over 200 Eur, so only for DX-er or SAT enthusiasts)
Also Tevii S660 is a great card and working with my PC, Laptop and now with my VU+ DUO, it supports USALS rotor mode so I am happy to have now the third tuner available - 1x watching TV, 1x for recording and 1x for streaming,
just slowly I am thinking about the new ULTIMO :))

P.S.
angelofsky, thanks for great support with the USB tuners and drivers , this literally makes the great "+" for the VU+ so now we can connect to USB ports following devices:
1. USB stick or USB HDD
2. WiFi stick
3. DVD-drive to play DVD-VIDEO
4. DVB-T/T2 tuner
5. DVB-S/S2 tuner
6. DVB-C tuner ( may be in the future ???)
7. USB Keyboard ??? (similar to Dreambox type)
8. ???? (did I forgot something ???)

The support is already done but doesen't tested :( In my country there is not DVB-C services :(

7. USB Keyboard ??? (similar to Dreambox type)
Already supported with 3.1.1 kernel images

skystar2 usb Does the kernel recognize him ....... such as ccam and newcamd...... are vu+ uno supported twinprotocol " Reception of Satellite Data "morobox" .. thanks:(

Hi,
I got from my uncle from Germany Satellite Card PCTV DVB-S2 Stick (460E), and I'd like to run this card at VU UNO, but the card is detected as a DVB-T tuner. Currently, I have also connected DVB-T ADB 100T USB Tuner (based on PCTV controller). Is it any chance to run the card properly?
greetings

Let me get this straight if I buy this I can turn my VU+Duo into 4 tuner(I already have a DVB-t USB stick inserted) set top box like the Ultimo,
Which one should I buy please let me know thank you!
