On the www net you can find many ready lists/settings.

I re-scanned the satellite and all these channels are working now.

I’m very disappointed today.
I have upgraded BH 1.7.9 to this new version, however I couldn’t get my personal back up from the HDD, I got a message saying: Backup found, but it’s NOT compatible with this new BH 2.0!!!!
I’ve also tried to configure my motor setting, added few satellite positions, and then send my setting via Dreamset, I saw the setting’s bouquets on my Solo2, but they are empty from any channels!!!
I re installed BH 1.7.9 back.
Any advice please on an easy way to upgrade.

you can't use old backup from old version. Just read new 2.0.1 release note. That's a 'must' before performing any software update.
You need to set up everything from the scratch however you can use old channel settings if you saved them on your PC.
Motor settings (tuners set up) need to be done again unfortunately so it's better to write down your config on the paper if you do not use USALS.
I'm sorry for your disappointment but it's very good way to update your box to newest version because all future updates can be done on-line without deleting your configuration.

Thank you for your reply.
I really didn't mind re-do all settings again (I had a screen shots on my tuners set up) but the new image didn't allow me to use my old channel setting I had on my PC, and not allowing me to re scan!!

what do you mean?
Use dramboxedit from 'BH how to' and send your channel list to your updated box.

Another issue I had is that I couldn't install any IPK addons

try to find similar ipk files with mipsel32 word in their name. And please read new image release note.
Most useful plugins are available from BH feed

My way.

I have almost everything I need on the computer.

1.Every time I install a clean image
2.For my motor I use the usuals
So I configure the tuner for a few seconds
Already at the first configuration.
3.I have also settings on the computer
After the first image configuration tuner and network.
Please check the Customize panel in System Menu
that Enable multiple bouquets standing on >>yes.
But before ,Customise panel Setup Mode must be on Expert.
4.Now I put/ftp settings with dreamboxedit.
This is similar to dreamset.
You must be sure that these programs are configured for Enigma 2
box and not Enigma1 .
For any other files I use
FTP with TotalCommander
Entire procedure when you do/repeat a couple of times do not last longer than a few minutes.
Probably I am faster than backup.
The condition is of course that you have prepared all on the computer.

Backup is good
But I always feel that I use old shoes. :D
so I install all over again on my way :lamo:

Can't get my backup back any more,
time is not moving back as I want..
There is no 'hide and seek' any more,
there is only commands like this:
'/mount
or
'telnet
I'd suggest to open new 'off topic tread'
where everyone lost in the 'matrix'
can get good word
and keep this thread alive for usual people too..
You'll be surprised how many souls
will be looking for asylum in here..

Hi everybody, I installed the BH 201 and then upgraded to rev A, everything works great except the Multi EPG. I'll explain:
When I press up arrow on the remote I get the channel list and at the bottom the menu (1 EPG Search, 2 Single EPG, 3 EPG MultiG) if I press 3 to display the MultiEPG I get a green screen and Solo2 restarts.
Someone else has the same problem?
For the EPG I use CrossEPG on USB and exhaust Rytec Italy XEPGDB repacked.
Enclosed is the log of the crash.

There is a conflict between internal OpenEPG and CrossEPG, uninstall CrossEPG.
And it's not recommended to use Software Manager to load plugins, use BH panel (traces of old Webinterface inside of your system).
