im using web interface, dream set, dreambox edit, ftp and so on, and don't want every time to check solo2 ip address ...
and yes i tried DHCP and its the same story for me:(.

I understand what you are saying but in your router, you can assign a permanent address to your Solo2. However enabling DHCP didn't sort out your problem anyway, so what's the point..

Stop saying sorry:). We all want to use our boxes and get everything what we can from these great machines.
Have you tried to use your gateway IP address instead of ISP dns'? As I posted above and @B.Bari
Not sure if that will help you out but there were couple of posts regarding dns' using by you.
Have you got image from this forum or is it some kind of someone's backup?

Downloaded image from first page (twice and installed twice...:) ) and it was fresh and clean install. Never using somebody's backup.
i tried use gateway IP address instead of ISP dns', but when applying its coming back to ISP dns.
Installed weather plugin from feed - working fine...

Hi,

I have installed BH2.0.1 in my Solo2 but some subtitles of channels in HD are cut in down (when two lines have only one appears). One provider of tv in Brazil have this problem, but only OpenPLI have one option in your menu for fixe position of subtitle.

Is there any way to change something like an XML or other configuration item and resolve problems with subtitles?

i found bug in manual fan control plugin included in BH image.
Default work ok, but when i change option "turn off in standby" to "no" (i want to fan work in standby) fan still stoped in standby and not start when stb start from standby.

I do not need skin to hear when my fan working or not working i can also put it at a higher speed.
Then I hear from three meters.

But Im sorry
We do not provide support for those who use these skins
which changes the structure of the image,with its own python files..
So you never know what is causing the problem.

default i use BH default skin, and now i test..set max pwm, and set off-turn off fan in standby, and when i go to standby fan is stoped, when box wakup fan still not work....
i also delete hdglass skin

you had to modified skin selector and nobody knows what else to use hdglass skin. Please use fresh clean BH image and check it again.

Still OK with fann off in standby and wakup.
 
I really do not like bugs that are reported
without the test with a clear image.
It costs us too much time.

Test with clean image and plugin inside the image.
 
now i install fresh 2.01, upgrade to 2.0.1a.
i set pwm to max, and test fan, but now fan not off anymore in standby....
any sugestions ?

I really have no idea,If you have installed agn clean image.
Hopefully it's not HW problem.

Try an older image and try the original image.
