BlackHole Vu+ Duo 1.6.6

Installed pretty straightforward. Did the Personal Backup files restore but it didn't like the PCSC drivers, so had to instal them again.

I have noticed when exiting from YouTube that it has frozen requiring a reboot, don't know if that's a bug or just the Video I was watching before closing that caused it.

Anyway, the image is working well after a little customization :)
 
Not sure where to ask this question but we are trying to update my my friends vu+duo but his box doesn't recognise his usb stick in any of his ports.We have tried 2 usb stick,ones brand new and we have formatted them also.the computer recognises the usb's as soon as you plug into laptop so we are assumung that the usb's are ok.I have flashed my box with no probs at all.Is there anyway that the usb ports couls be switched off?

I know your situation is not so happy :(
I don't think we can do anything.
 
Is there any problem with card readers?

Mine stops working after bootloader and image update. I'll try with 1.6.5 to see if it works again,
 
Can anyone help me update skin.

Disconnect all USB sticks and hubs from your box and make the update again with only USB stick connected
on FRONT

bootloader update and image install
very easy

you need to make update/install twice
bootloader first and after bootloader update image update/image install.
USB procedure is the same .

Format USB stick

1. Unzip the duo_cfe_3_0_usb.zip to USB stick.(There should be /vuplus/duo/cfe_cfe_auto.bin)
2. Insert USB stick into the USB port of duo and power on the box.
3. It takes just a few secs to update.
4. If Duo displays the message "Finished..reboot", remove the USB stick and restart box.
5. Format USB stick again.
6. Unzip BH image and copy to USB stick (standard procedure)
7. Insert USB stick into the USB port of duo and power on the box.
(standard procedure).
8.If Duo displays the message "Finished..reboot", remove the USB stick and restart box.

UPDATE Skin Default

and fix for BUG in CVS RemoteControlCode plugin
(with code plugin you can use example VUduo remote with VUUno >>code 1)

On our image server >>skins

Rihanna5 skin default v3 SKIN UPDATE ONLY FOR BH 1.6.6 (Black Hole E2)
FIX for DVD player BUG,FIX for RemoteControlCode plugin BUG, added new panels for CEC and Web Browser
After update restart image .

Is possible but you will not have fix for remote plugin.
You can install first Rihanna5 V3 with fix and after any other skin.

But still my CEC does not work in the picture on this site i see current CEC address 1.0.0.0 on my Vu+ it is f.f.f.f. ????
