Hi, I have searched in this post and maybe i missed the answer.
I have a VU+ Solo2 with a 1TB HDD internal but I would like to add another recording path.
i.e I want to have two separated disks to be used by my recordings one on the HDD and one on an external disk connected through a USB.
when I set the timer for a specific program I see there is a field in which i can indicate where to i want to record . Lets say i want to record all episodes of a specific TV series to the disk connected to the USB so if i want i can disconnect it from my VU+ and watch it on a different device (PC for example)
Is such a thing possible ?? Thanks Mony

In timer menu, if you select the "path" item and then you press the ok button you should be able to change the device for recording.
Obviously, your external HDD has to be mounted by BH Devices Manager.

I have tried to set my solo up with external hdd. I have a problem mounting it properly.
Time shift is working and I can play recordings from it, but it will not record. It just goes to green screen and resets box.
Can someone help me with this please?

Thanks.
Regards,
Jules.

Have you created the movie folder on your HDD?

Thanks for a great tutorial. Works fine except will not "instant record" If you press instant record you get green screen and box resets.
It will record with timer and timeshift functions though. Weird. Any suggestions please?
Thanks.

Jules.
