Yes, I think it's like my.
It works for my with that, no need for restart E2 after boot.
And I guess it's a timing issue, and perhaps we have different equipment attached. I have 4 USB devices.
Perhaps you could try different sleep intervalls.

Hi cyborgpunte

Is your terrestrial reception 100% stable T/T2/SD/HD
I cannot watch 5 minutes TV without having random freezing (2 - 5 seconds)
And after a while (total random) the channel i am watching, is running into small loops. 3 seconds forward, looping back 2,5 seconds
(when recording this happens almost every time), and all other terrestrial channels are going Black. (The tuner is however, still present in tuner setup)

As i see it, there is definitely a (BH)driver problem

Best regards

thought I answered on my tablet...... I'm on the road will come back during next week.
Hopefully time to test on windows PC as well.
But SD signal is stronger and more stable then HD.
No freezing on SD +80 signalstreangth
HD freezes sometimes eg raining and high 60 - low 70
but lower on booth atm, caused by snow on antenna.

Sorry didn't find my original media/soft for windows, so I was not able to test on PC.
But erlier in this thread I wrote rock solid in Windows XP or something like that.

This values below is what I have today, no improvment with new cables and antenna.....

approx 20km and clear sight and almost free (no mountains or so)

Solo2:
HD_SNR=63 +-2%
SD_SNR=68 +-2%

Wich gives problem with rain/snow on HD sometimes.
and everything is replaced antenna, cables, and so on.
The replacement didn't improved SNR on my LG LM960V still on low 90%.
Just the last 100cm antenna cable that differ (2way passive splitter)
and I have changed cables solo2 with TV no diff.

And I still have too use my workaround, to get rid of E2 restart after boot/powercycle

PCTV systems nanostick T2 290e
Blackhole 2.0.9 ( VU+ Ultimo )

These values below is what I have today.

Ultimo:
HD_SNR=73 +-2% (approx 18km and clear sight and almost free (no mountains or so))
random freezing (2 - 5 seconds)
SD_SNR=74 +-2% (approx 80km and clear sight and almost free (no mountains or so))
random freezing (2 - 5 seconds)

Usb tuner problems only, Internal Tuner ok (no freezing) (99%), TV-Tuner ok (no freezing)

TV-Tuner and Usb-Tuner on same 2way passive splitter

Looking forward to a solution

Best regards

BH 2.0.9 (VU+ SOLO2)
PCTV T2 (290e)

BH recognizes USB tuner, but automatic scan doesnt work.

This works with DVB-C or only works with DVB-T ?

?? Automatic scan is 100% functional för me ??

((But demands of course correct terrestrial.xml and restart GUI/E2 or my workaround implemented))

Where can i find correct terrestrial.xml for me? I'm from Portugal.

So "Automatic Scan" works if i have correct "Terrestrial.xml"...that's it?

Are you using BH 2.0.9 with PCTV T2 (290e) ?

Regards and thank for your support.

The USB stick (PCTV T2 (290e)) is attached to my Solo2 with latest BH (209) using an active USB hub

I use my own xml because original one, missing some MUX.
But even original works, but not with all channels
No clue about Portugal check with your provider.

Have you tried
Menu, BlackholeShutdown, Restart Enigma2
and then scan ?????

edit : Don't know if it works with "C" it's named "T2" as in Terrestrial

Ok, later when i get home, i will try the following steps:

1. Make a fresh instal of BH 2.0.9 on my Solo2
2. Connect my PCTV (290e) on USB Port
3. Restart Enigma2 (Restart Box)
4. Try Automatic Scan (with terrestrial signal)
5. Try Automatic Scan (with cable signal)
6. If points 4 and 5 fail will try "Manual scan" with Type Of Scan "Complete" like said angelofsky1980

But anyone of you didnt try with DVB-C signal??

Do you only tried with DVB-T signal?

Because this PCTV T2 supports DVB-C/T/T2 signals.

Just DVB-T and DVB-T2 for me, NO DVB-Cable.

and Restart Enigma2 IS NOT EQUAL (Restart Box)

edit:
can't find it supporting DVB-C when using g00gle ????

I think it supports DVB-C....check this:

h**p://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/PCTV_Systems_nanoStick_T2_290e

:)

But for DVB-C, probably i need cable.xml file........or do you think automatic scan will work fine?

How it works for DVB-T....you must have a specific terrestrial.xml file, or automatic scan works fine and make your own terrestrial.xml ?

Thanks

Ok.....later night, i will try everthing i can, and then leave feedback here.

I will try with DVB-C too.......it was great, because, than i would have my SOLO2 working with DVB-S/S2, DVB-C/T/T2

;).......let's hope for great news.

If so,
I don't understand how it's supposed to work C+T, compared to those "tripletuner/combo's" STB:s

So please report back
