Surely you have problems with internet connection (DHCP is not enabled for example) that cuts from time to time, is that you can easily read the BH weather?
I think my internet connection is ok. It is set up with a static address, but it is working.
My box can download from the MyMetrixOpenstore and it downloads a new EPG every night.

When you choose to install a plug what does the box tell you?
Which error do you have?

The box doesn't give an error. It says the install was successful.
But the new plugin is nowwhere to be seen.

However, if I check the /tmp folder after I click download but before I click Install I can see there is no downloaded file there.

After install, box should restart gui. Is it so?

Box does not request a restart (as it normally would) so I have been restarting it myself.
You can see new plugin only if you restart gui.
If after restart you don't see it there is a problem.
Can you connect via ftp to box and see if in /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions you can see the dir of the plug you tried to install?

I just checked the folder (I am in work but can FTP from here to home) the plugins I have been trying to install are not here.

I have tried permanent Timeshift, 1 Channel and some skins.
So I am sure it is all on BH Server.
So, i'm afraid the problem is your img.
Maybe something when wrong.
What about tring to install a new img and see if it works?
I think you have no other solutions.

Yes I think you are right.
Should I stick with 2.0.7.2 or should I go back to my last good version 2.0.5?

Try to manually install a plugin if it works.
I could try this.
Can you point me to a link to something I can try?
I did try to manually install a copy of the permanent timeshift plugin (that I got from elsewhere) but it failed because it seemed to try and install other components that it needed to download.

How do you know you have enough free space?

I looked in Sys Info page.
From memory my RAM usage was 45% and everything else (flash, USB, HDD) was much lower.
Is there a way for me to check it remotely?

I did just FTP a folder (12MB) from my work PC to the /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions folder and then copied it back again.
It transferred successfully.

You can expand it via ftp, but it is better you use panel to see if you have problems.

Do you have picons installed? If yes, where?
