The Linux Drivers are available...
So why is it not supported yet ?
Full Open Source or the only x86/x64 version?

project is close atm, no open drivers
OK I suppose that. No full open source driver equals no possible implementation in our boxes.
I'll check the sources. Here are the Open SOURCE Drivers for TBS Cards including the interesting 5980:

Hope you can implement the Drivers for our VU+ Boxes![]()
I'll check the sources.
Sources seems OK.
When they will be merged into mainline LinuxTV repos, we'll support them.

Not yetThere is a plugin for TBS 5925 ?????
thank you
keep us uptodate angelofsky1980Not yet
I've checked the sources avaiable from TBS website and there are no chances: the drivers avaiable from the manufacturer ARE ONLY FOR X86 and X64 arch. No MIPS arch avaiable. No full source code drivers avaiable ... so IMPOSSIBLE support for MIPS platform.but I've read this:
To build drivers for your TBS card
# cd tbs
- download the driver source from tbsdtv.com
- extract the arhive
- enter the tbs direcory contained in the archive
# tar jxvf linux-tbs-drivers.tar.bz2
- extract the contained tar.bz
# find linux-tbs-drivers -type d -exec chmod 755 {} ';'
- fix the permissions (someone messed up the permissions in the tar)
- follow the instructions in the README_TBS#### file where #### matches your card model number
It's another story.I do not speak Russian but maybe someone else is successful.. hope
