I have tested my stick at 2 different Windows PCs.
No problem found. Stick is recognized correctly and drivers install OK.
Channels scan fine and plays OK.
ON my VU+ Solo Receiver stick is not recognized. :lamo:

- Remove All USB devices.
- Flashed 1.6.6
- Booted
- Installed LAN and DVB-T Stick
- Rebooted
- install Driver
- Enable tuner
- Error message .. Sorry no supported device found ....
- Hard Restart
- Enable tuner
- Error message .. Sorry no supported device found ....
-Power off reciver (Remove 220V/AC cable)
- Enable tuner
- Error message .. Sorry no supported device found ....
- Extract Dmesg-1.6.6.txt

- Remove All USB devices.
- Flashed 1.6.5
- Booted
- Installed LAN and DVB-T Stick
- Rebooted
- install Driver
- Enable tuner
- Error message .. Sorry no supported device found ....

Before installing new image Stick was working Perfectly. :confused:

Package SMSUSB on server UPDATED for all Vu+ boxes.

Please post the "dmesg" output when appear "no supported device found".
 
Dear Angelo.
I have flashed VU+ Solo with 1.6.5 Firmware.(For Hdmi-cec compatibility)
Restored USB Tuner Driver from my Personal Backup and all works fine !
Once i have time i will start my trials soon.

Personal Backup is one of the best features ever made. Highly Recommended :thumbup:

Test the native driver within 1.6.6 when you have possibility.

Angelo, i forget one thing.....

In UNO at least, /lib/modules/dvbt/bh-api.ko DON'T INSTALL IT!! Gives a error!! Too with Green HD!!


Any ideas?

The file you mention is a very old object and is not yet needed.
I'm @ home now and I will upload NOW the correct package.
Sorry for my big mistake.

I've made some tests during play a BD film (on my new BD player :) ) on Solo and Ministick and the device is still detected and usable. Some crossed tests are made (USB stick + DVB, Wifi Stick + DVB). I haven't tested with an Hub USB and the usage of more 2 USB devices but this kind of test will be done tomorrow evening or friday evening as the last date.

On Uno we are making more intensive tests to discover the cause of non-working.
We have verified on Solo the proper working of Ministick device (updated package already on the server and tested by me and other colleague Admin who have the same device).

My Uno actually wait the Universal Remote Control (my prototype arrives with Duo/Solo remote .... and I cannot make direct tests with new 1.6.6 Image). My colleague Admin who make tests reports very strange errors and results :( I need to make direct test with a clean install image :( actually there is a very caotic image on my Uno .......

My Uno Remote is already arrived in my country. My friend has received it for me and I wait to receive it with some USB sticks :) I'm a very patient man :D

I have a Uno prototype with old remote control and I've bought a Ministick two weeks ago. The DVB device works correctly with Duo and Solo. On Uno I haven't make intensive tests with last BH image because it's need the Universal remote control (or New remote control) to properly use the image.
My new remote control unit is parked to my friend shop who send me it with a lots of Wifi sticks to be tested on the boxes :)
